Before buying this, I had spent money on cheaper brands and thought them adequate, but bulky and with batteries that didn’t last very long. For a forthcoming trip to the USA, I decided to buy the Theragun Mini, based on the need to have a compact unit, which I could use on the flight to help with blood circulation. Although I had read positive reviews, the price, being a lot more than i had paid for other models, made me hesitate, but I did decide to go ahead in the end. I can honestly now say, I am so glad i did. The difference in quality and effectiveness over cheaper brands is striking. Compact it is, palm of the hand size, indeed, It went into my cabin bag easily and was unobtrusive to use on the flight, being remarkably quiet. It is really well designed, very easy to use and packs a real punch in use. Because of the comparatively heavy weight of the unit, I can let the unit glide over the muscles without having to apply much pressure and the three intensity levels give a full range of effect. what is also noticeable is that the rechargeable battery lasts many times longer than the cheaper models, which I were having to recharge between every massage session. On the first setting, with shorter periods of level two and three use, the Theragun Mini keeps enough charge to deliver three or four complete leg massages.
